1 Cup buckwheat flour Filling 2 cups cream cheese Blend all ingredients in a blender until smooth. Serves 1.
2 cups whole wheat pastry flour Mix first 6 ingredients (the "dry" ones). Add the last 4 ingredients (the "wet" ones). Coat an 9x5" loaf pan with non-stick cooking spray. Spread batter into pan and bake at 350 F for 45-50 minutes, or just until toothpick inserted into center comes out clean. Remove from oven, let sit for 10 minutes. Invert onto a rack or serving board, cool and slice.
3 eggs Beat eggs until mixed well. Heat oil and sauté mushrooms, add tamari. In separate omelette pan, heat more oil, add eggs, and cook until bottoms of the eggs are solid. Add mushrooms. Fold eggs over mushrooms. Cook additional 1-2 minutes.
½ cup whole wheat flour Mix flour, oats, baking powder in one bowl, and milk, egg whites, molasses in another. Pour the wet ingredients over the dry, stir until blended. Spray oil on a skillet or griddle, heat until quite hot. Ladle batter onto griddle, cook pancakes on both sides until done. Top with pure maple syrup.
8 slices Cinnamon Raisin Bread Beat eggs with milk and spices until mixed. Dip bread in egg mixture to coat both sides, then cook on hot oiled skillet or griddle for 3 minutes on each side or to taste. Top with pure maple syrup. |
